Antique Chinese carved jade bowl with low foot rim of ~ 2-3 mm depth and thinly walled. It was engine turned then hand polished as there are abundant fine hand polishing marks (only visible at 10x mag or greater). We believe this particular plate to be of Qing age, however during what reign is unknown. There were mechanical lathes in existence since ancient times. There are no damages that can be detected. The lines and or spots/inclusions that can be seen in the photos are of natural occurrence and were there when the bowl was made. Antique condition as in photos.
